So much beautiful water! The wind gust kept catching the spray and making us get soaked. Photo by Radteam

Hwy 410 east of Enumclaw. WTA will spend the week performing maintenance on the Snoquera Falls Trail. We are continuing to do substantial rock work near the base of the falls. Work will also include tread repair and drainage improvements. Meet at Camp Sheppard.

This trail is an early and late season route located east of the White River. This 2.5 mile trail can be combined with a section of the White River trail to form a nice loop. It leaves the White River Trail #1199 and climbs to the base of the falls with spectacular views. Crossing the stream at the falls leads you back down to your starting point.

Driving directions:
From Enumclaw drive east on State Highway 410 and continue until you see a large sign on your left for Camp Sheppard Boy Scout. The sign comes shortly after you pass The Dalles Campground on the right. The turnoff to Camp Sheppard is Forest Service Road 7155, located at approximately milepost 53. There is a large parking area right after you leave Highway 410. We will be meeting here in the parking lot. (Driving time from Seattle: approximately 1.5 hours.)
