Olympic Peninsula. WTA's annual Volunteer Appreciation event for our Olympic Peninsula volunteers on Saturday, Dec 1! Help us celebrate an amazing year! Join us to share memories from the trail, meet fellow volunteers, and maybe even take home a great door prize! Food and refreshments will be provided.

THANK YOU!

Whether you volunteered one or 100 days with WTA this year, we want to thank you for giving your time to trails. Maybe you lopped away brush from a trail corridor, or maybe you helped build a puncheon bridge. Whatever work you did with WTA, your efforts have improved our trail system for hikers all over the state to enjoy.

To thank you properly (meaning, with food), we would like to invite you to one of our annual volunteer appreciation parties scattered across the state.

There's no doubt that we have cause for celebration; 2012 has been a record-breaking year. You are one of 2700 individuals who will have volunteered on trail with WTA by the end of this year - more volunteers than ever before.

From the Olympics to the Colville, from Mount Baker to the Columbia River Gorge, you and your fellow trail workers have collectively logged around 100,000 hours on trails in Washington this year. With this amazing effort, you've helped create safe and passable wild spaces for hikers across the state.

Join us on on December 1 from 1-4pm at the Quilcene Community Center, on Hwy 101 in Quilcene, next to the Hood Canal Ranger station.
