WTA would like to thank our southernmost volunteers for another great year on Friday, Nov 16! This year we're celebrating at the Clark PUD Community Room. Come be a part of festivities, meet fellow volunteers, and maybe even take home a great door prize! Food and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by Nov 10th.

THANK YOU!

Whether you volunteered one or 100 days with WTA this year, we want to thank you for giving your time to trails. Maybe you lopped away brush from a trail corridor, or maybe you helped build a puncheon bridge. Whatever work you did with WTA, your efforts have improved our trail system for hikers all over the state to enjoy.

To thank you properly (meaning, with food), we would like to invite you to one of our annual volunteer appreciation parties scattered across the state.

There's no doubt that we have cause for celebration; 2012 has been a record-breaking year. You are one of 2700 individuals who will have volunteered on trail with WTA by the end of this year - more volunteers than ever before.

From the Olympics to the Colville, from Mount Baker to the Columbia River Gorge, you and your fellow trail workers have collectively logged around 100,000 hours on trails in Washington this year. With this amazing effort, you've helped create safe and passable wild spaces for hikers across the state.

We appreciate so much all that you do for trails. To demonstrate our gratitude, we are pleased to invite you to one of our regional volunteer appreciation events.

Join us in the Clark PUD Community Room on November 16 from 6:00pm - 8pm in Vancouver, WA. Join the WTA staff, members from your community and local land managers in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our SW Washington trail maintenance volunteers. From Cape Disappointment to Cape Horn and beyond, WTA volunteers have completed another successful year of making SW Washington an even better place to hike. We’ll provide the refreshments, awards and a brief slide show to recap their accomplishments - you bring the applause! Come to mingle and enjoy appetizers at 6:00p; the ceremony kicks off around 6:30pm

Clark PUD Community Room is located at 1200 Fort Vancouver Way in Vancouver, WA.
