Olympic National Park. An easy trail to get to from Hwy 101, it begins at the Olympic Park Visitors Center and gently leads into the foothills. We'll work on putting a handrail and posts on the one-log bridge that we created earlier this year.

The Peabody Creek trail is a gentle 2.7 mile trail that begins in Port Angeles at the ONP Visitors Center and parallels the Hurricane Ridge Road (and Peabody Creek) as it heads towards the Olympic foothills.

Driving directions:
We'll meet at the ONP Visitor (Information) Center – just off of Race St. in Port Angeles. If you are coming from the greater Seattle area and I-5 corridor, you can reach U.S. 101 by several different routes: 1) Cross Puget Sound on one of the Washington State Ferry System's car and passenger ferries. 2)Drive south to Tacoma and cross Puget Sound at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. 3) Drive south to Olympia and access U.S. 101 there.
