Puget Sound Area. I-90 at exit 47. This short and popular trail follows upstream along a creek and leads to a series of gentle waterfalls. As requested by the Forest Service, we're working on enhancing the first 600 feet of trail to make this trail more accessible. This will include widening and resurfacing projects.

Situated just east of the Denny Creek Campground, near Snoqualmie Pass, this short trail follows upstream along a bubbling creek. The trail leads to a series of gentle waterfalls, which are popular on sunny days. The path is fairly gentle and great for families.

Driving directions:
From Seattle drive east on I-90 to exit 47 (Asahel Curtis/Denny Creek). Turn left over the overpass and proceed to a T intersection. Turn right and travel 0.25 miles to Denny Creek Road (FSR 58). Turn left onto FSR 58 and drive 2.5 miles, turning left off the paved road after passing the Denny Creek Campground. The trailhead for Franklin Falls is just before you cross the bridge. Beyond the bridge is the trailhead for Denny Creek. (Driving time from Seattle: approximately 1 hour.)
