Olympic Peninsula. The Gray Wolf Trail extends 22+ miles from North Olympic foothills into ONP, across Gray Wolf Pass before dropping down to the Dosewallips. This is an overnight backpacking trip, so you will need to be prepared to hike 2-3 miles to the campsite carrying tools and personal gear. The work will include tread work, brushing, and crosscut sawing to open trail.

This trail is in the USFS Buckhorn Wilderness, so chainsaws and other mechanized equipment will not be used and the work party will be limited to 8 people. The Gray Wolf Trail extends 22+ miles from North Olympic foothills into ONP, across Gray Wolf Pass before dropping down to the Dosewallips. We will be working on the three miles of trail above the intersection of the Slab Camp and Gray Wolf trails
