Sunset on Rainier. R. Ojerio

Lake Christine (#249) offers a delightful alpine lake setting with camp spots just 1 mile from the trailhead. Great views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Adams await another 1/2 mile further making a great day trip. But this trail is due for some brushing and tread maintenance! Come join the party on this National Public Lands Day.

The Lake Christine Trail #249 is one of three entry points into the Glacier View Wilderness. Due west of Mt. Rainier, this little gem offers a respite from the crowds and some fantastic viewpoints from Mt. Beljica and Glacier View peak.
